I had wanted to do this meme for a long time, and finally did ... at the end of the month in which I didn't write at all lol. Anyway, I'm only posting this here because I want other people to fill this out too! I want to see your answers! Please? :<

Hmm the growing out of fujikita thing... part of it has to do with the fandom too. A while back, when Y/F was starting to get more established in magazines and stuff, there was this backlash against Ki/F with a lot of people being catty about it and shippers getting called delusional and so on. My friends and I still pushed on with the shipping of course, and it's not like anyone specifically pointed to me (or any of my friends) and said anything bad, but it was just kind of annoying overall. And then Fujigaya started acting pained, and after a while Kitayama gave up on it too, and so I gradually got tired of ... wanting something that nobody else, including Ki/F themselves, wanted? Something like that.

Still, I have markedly more fun writing them than I do any other Kisumai pairing so I'm not planning to stop or anything. Plus they're my default mental pairing, so whenever there's a new storyline in my head I automatically cast fujikita first and then adjust as characterization dictates haha. XD

Also re: kitakura, I've written them once for shiritori (my first one iirc)! And Rosie has written them a couple of times too, also for shiritori. Kisumai fandom is pretty good at shipping all the ships, it's just hard to find all the little non-cross-posted gems ;;
