fly by night

whew. Since returning from the unwedding I've moved out of my flat, sold stuff, stored stuff, crammed stuff into labeled translucent boxes in my kingcab, deflated my business, and am in the last throes of moving out of my clinic. it feels very good, although unsettling. I'm in the second housesit and have gotten to know several couches and floors well. Once that last leak is fixed in the camper, there are more options that include lots of stars. I should be tucked into a whale watching view housesit 15 minutes from the Hawaii honeymoon group hotel, so can offer side accommodations. That is as much planning as I can handle right now. Clearing the playing field for the next adventure (could be just about anything) and resting and strengthening up, there is some peripheral debris while odd people leave reluctently. I've had a bad example of that transference thing with one client who has been stalking me and called two police guys to my office yesterday on charges of theft. there is no theft. She was peeking in my windows last night while I worked with my last client in the beloved old clinic. Gee, it's great to be so popular.

For my birthday my friend, Cal, called in the soon to be resurrected band guys and set me up with my fiddle so I could play music. That was the best birthday. I'm taking a couple of weeks to resurrect music practice and gym routines before i start up the work engine again. A tip from this mother generation: it never gets as simple as you dream of, and if you work exra hard for a goal, put a time limit on it. It's gotta be fun and make your heart happy, no matter what it is. And, I guess, if you're going to embrace "homelessness", Hawaii is a good place to do it!

Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone is held in the wine glass reflection of loving friends today! I will be in unwedding hair and horns with such friends. So few opprotunities to dress up or out here.
