[Rika wasn't afraid this time. She approached Rena's side, carefully stepping around the fallen glass shards. She reached out and lightly placed her fingertips on the hand which held the bat. She spoke gently, trying soothe the other girl.]
Rena? You might want to put that down, alright? Our roommates might get frightened.

[As soon as she placed the bat against the wall, Rika rejoined Rena's side, continuing to speak comfortingly as a means to soothe her heart. She placed a reassuring hand over Rena's and guided over to sit ontop of the bed.]
