if you don't believe me, what's the point?

Okay, so after working so damn hard for so long to not get spoiled for the Ashes finale, the inevitable happened. I was sifting through my Google alerts and of course, I happened to stumble upon the Daily Mail spoilers. The picture came up in the email before I had the chance to exit the window. I didn't read the article, but the pictures were ( Read more... )

Ah, but you redeemed yourself the second time around!!! :D

Hermione Norris is so damn awesome. I was so devastated as well when she left Wire in the Blood. I watched series 4-6, but I just kept thinking to myself while watching it 'I wish Carol was here...' She was one of my favourite characters ever.

Yessss. And the way she left as well. IDK whether it was her fault or the producers or the writers or just FATE but the way she left :(((.

I really hated the way her leaving was dealt with. I'm pretty sure it was her decision to leave, but surely they could have written her out in a more realistic way! Her suddenly deciding to pack up and move to South Africa has always seemed really ridiculous to me. AND, it ruined one of my favourite ships- Tony/Carol had so much UST!!!

I kind of hate her for wanting to leave (don't want to be typecast, yet walk into pretty much the same role on Spooks???) but suddenly going to SAf was crazy.

Synchronicity had so much great stuff in it... for nothing

Yeah, I tried to hate her, but she's just too adorable and wonderful and I just couldn't do it. If her character on Spooks had been rubbish, I think I would've ended up hating her, but I love Ros, which makes it hard.

Leaving for South Africa without even bothering to tell Tony is just so out of character. Like you said, In Synchronicity they end up closer than ever, and I remember Carol saying "Losing you I could cope with", and then we're supposed to believe she just runs off? Yeah, right...
