hello all, long time no typey,

i feel so special, everyone in all of humboldt county is out right now celebrating my 5 year anniversary. how'd they all know? haha

so i transfered to a diffrent theater within the same company. i was working at the mckinnleyville theater which is about 20 miles or so from my home, but now i work at one of the eureka theaters (the broadway) and its about 3/4 of a mile from home. so thats really cool. (and by cool i mean totally sweet) i still have the same position, head projectionist, and i got another 50 cent raise, bringing me up to an orgasmic $12/hour. i dont have a degree and i dont plan on getting one, so i am totally satisfied that i can make a decent wage doing something that i love. the broadway is very diffrent from the mill creek. mill creek is very clean and more technologically advanced, while the broadway is a little greasier and shows obvious signs of years of neglect. its still 200% nicer than cinema 10 ever was though, so its not like i havent seen worse. my first shift at the broadway was yesterday, and i have to say there are a lot of things that i really like about it. at mill creek the booth is very huge, but it is like one giant open space. at the broadway, the booth is like a small labyrinth. there are several diffrent rooms, and countless little nooks and crannys, all filled with old equipment, tools, spare parts, and just tons of stuff for me to tinker with. and also there is a massive trailor collection there, with trailors dating way back, and i am mad about watching trailors. also the broadway is where the tecnical supervisor has his work bench set up, so hes always there working on stuff, and his collection of manuals and how to books are located there.
i bet you guys are finding this incredibly boring huh? sorry, i just love my job and i am very happy with the change. in a couple of months this booth will be flawless, its my baby.

in other news, i cooked monica supper tonight. beef and onion lentils, wild rice stuffed cornish game hens. heres a little secret, prior to putting them in the oven, pull up the skin a little, and stuff butter and whole pieces of garlic in there. oh man its good.

so i guess thats all on this side. later.
