Tonsils...again
Poor ole BrianE got his tonsils snatched this (rather yesterday) morning...Note to file..next time around have the kids tonsils removed at age 5 rather than 19,20,25 or (when are you getting YOURS out Bean? Never? Yeeaaa!)
The operation went smoothly, but Bri got the shivers in recovery and was so far under w/the general anesthesia he forgot to breath occasionally...so instead of a 4 hr stay, we were at the hosp for 10 hrs till his breathing stabilized and eyes uncrossed *figuratively speaking*
He was REALLY sore, miserable and generally out of it till around 12:30AM. Seems to be a bit more comfortable now, but I'm still sleeping in the chair in his room tonight....just in case the kid heads out of his room and down the hall the wrong direction.....
But, had to be done and now it's healing time...perhaps sleeping time too...next week or so :)
