Whew...that went better than expected
Well, my surgery was scheduled for 1:30 w/12:30 show-up time....so I do my usual thing and got to bed.....late... 'cause I was gonna sleep in. No such luck. I woke up to the phone ringing at 7:30 AM and the question: "can you be here in 30 min? We've had a cancellation". Chaos ensued complete w/showing up at the wrong surgery center!
After that everything went as smooth as the proverbial silk... no rotator cuff tears, just crud to clean out. Got to watch the procedure on the monitor cause the anestheologist was cool and stapled the draping back. Went home early and am feeling pretty good. We'll see how tomorrow feels when the pain meds wear off completly...but except for a "dead" (as in completely numb) arm, eating w/my right hand and typing w/1 finger....I'd say this was pretty easy....
