Well look who decided to post!
Seems that LJ finally got its act together and added an autosave feature to its update features. Nice touch, now I'm sure hundreds of frustrated typers (including myself) are relieved they won't lose the last ten minutes of their lives they spent ranting on a computer!
Now if only we could fix hotmail... and message boards... and everything else that a crashing IE or FireFox causes us to lose.
I digress...
Well, it felt like summer in the city for a great couple days. Now it's cold cold cold again. Ah well, not that I mind it. But it's no fun waking up to freezing temperatures in your room because you turned the heat off a week ago. Bad choice I guess.
I've been applying for jobs. Downtown and back home in waterloo. Dunno where I'll end up, I'll probably stay here. Which means I won't see my core group of friends much again this summer and I won't be living at home. If I did go home, I'd hafta find a subletter for this room of mine. And if I did... I wonder if I'd really want to come back to it next year. The house is fine, the location is great - but the accomodations aren't stellar. I've got the smallest room, the only one that doesn't get any sunlight (my days indoors are powered simply by lightbulbs) and I do put up with all the rent paying and the utilities. So you see, while it simply would be easy to stay I don't really relish the prospect.
Plus, the mice seem to love my room.
It's not really fair is it? You get screwed for a year and while everyone else is happy, you're hoping things will change. They on the other hand have every reason to hope it doesn't.
Nope, I don't love it. Maybe it's my punishment tho. I've never lived in a very big room and I don't have to any time soon. And it's not like I don't go outside and therefore don't get any light. Mike stays indoors all day so maybe he needs the smaller room with light.
Still, putting up with something for a year and putting up with something for two years are different things completely.
Hoorah! The choices I have... :(
