Today I asked my sister
aurelisa to take some pictures of Faith weaving on our six pole set in the tiny backyard.
Here is the best and last one she took. I like it because it is photographic proof that Faith can single step through the weaves. She tends to do this a little over half of the time now, I think. Sometimes she single steps through part of the weaves and hops through the rest. Honestly, I don't care that much about awesome footwork. I just want a relatively reliable weaving dog! Note: The poles are the weave-o-matic style. We start out with them straight and Faith pushes them out as she goes on. She can do straight ones now, though, even though this picture doesn't show it.
Here Faith dives enthusiastically towards the poles!
Hop, hop, hop.
Less on the hopping, more on the blurriness.
Handler fail. :( I feel bad for poor Faith having to put up with me.
Weave, weave, weave.
Here's me doing my marching band member impression again.
You can also see Faith's new clip. I put her into a pants and jacket or modified town and country in an effort to make her look poodley and to celebrate my new clipper blade. I think she looks cute. She needs brushing now, though. :( I need to practice using my combs to see if I can keep her at one inch or so length neatly. My grooming cycle seems to go like this: Faith is hairy. Shave Faith completely. Do Town and Country clip when some hair grows back. When hair gets too long, do bikini clip. When poofs get too unruly, shave Faith completely.
