Poodle Specialty

Yesterday I sent Faith's entry for Rally Novice A at the poodle specialty in North Carolina this month.  The entries are due by noon tomorrow, so it might not get there in time.  I couldn't decide whether or not to go.  On the one hand, it's a chance to see lots and lots of poodles in one place!  Also, with any luck we'll get our third RN leg.  On

I don't think you have anything to worry about and it will be lots of fun. Not every Poodle owner has a groomer do their dogs. I know a lot of DIYers. From the pictures I saw Faith looks GREAT. Oh and you should check out the Poodle board at www.furkids.net It is great, lots of very knowledgeable Poodle owners. I've been a member of it since '05. Let me know what you think if you decide to check it out. :)

Aw, thanks! :) I will be intimidated by the conformation dogs' show clips.... Also, Faith's breeder will be there, and I don't want her to think I'm doing a horrible job with the dog she sold me!

I wish you hadn't mentioned that Poodle board! :P I just spent far too long browsing through posts instead of doing my homework. (As if I need another internet obsession besides LJ!) Those pictures you have posted of Savannah and River are just gorgeous! I registered as omnipoodle, but so far my email hasn't come yet....

You know, I have never seen a Poodle in show clip in person. It's not something I would ever do to my own dog but I think it would be interesting to watch someone groom a Poodle into one.

I'm sure that seeing you out and doing something fun and worthwhile with Faith will make her breeder very very proud.
