july "this is not a real challenge" challenge
Because we keep hearing murmurs about the impending July release of a certain movie (we think it's called The One In Which Sirius Bites It, but we could be wrong) followed shortly thereafter by the release of a certain book (Dearthly Hollows? Deadly Halos? something like that), there is not going to be an official July Challenge at omniocular.
Instead, we offer this month up as a chance to finish up stories and artwork from any of our previous challenges. There are no new sign-ups or guidelines; you don't have to claim new prompts or let us know what you're writing or anything like that. If you have any piece from any of our old challenges--it doesn't matter how old--that you want to finish up and share with the world, feel free.
Members may post their work at any time according to the posting guidelines; non-members can leave us a comment on this post or send us an email at omnio_mods @ yahoo.com with a link to the work posted on your own journal. As always, the only rule is that the story or art cannot focus on romantic or sexual relationships. All other genres are welcome.
We'll post a master list of all work in this month on August 1. On August 2, our next real challenge will begin. Assuming, of course, that the fandom hive mind doesn't spontaneously implode and cause the solar system to collapse upon itself in a black hole sometime this month. You never know. Stranger things have happened.
