Ice Cream for a Cow

Since a good chunk of you friends play FaceBook games, I thought I'd share this article with you. I'm not a big fan of the whole FarmVille thing and all those other games, but I do think these incentives are interestingly hilarious:

Haha true. I like the idea behind it. Maybe if they offered something for a game I actually played, I might consider taking part in it. :p

I don't play any of those as you have to rely on other people to really succeed. Considering I'm the type of person who enjoys aggravating people with taunts of "my farm's better than yours," my farm would sadly die lol

BTW have you seen South Park's episode about facebook?

Over-reliance on other users is the exact reason why I can never pursue those games. I'm sure they're fun, but I'd probably get bored really fast.

And yes!!! I have seen that South Park episode! When it comes to all those FaceBook games, I pretty much have Stan's attitude: "You guys are retarded, I'm playing XBox..." :D

BTW, here's a hilarious article of what Mario would be like if designed in 2010. :p

Okay, that was pretty funny. I do find it odd when some people pay over and over again to buy pixels, that should the game end they'll never see again. At least with actually games you spend your money and actually own those pixels.

I am addicted to farmville I just love it all the cute animals make me smile when I am having a bad day...lol shut up I know you are making fun of me for getting a smile out of something so simple. :P ;) lol

I admit I went out to 7-11 and took part in this promotion because it was too good to pass up. 200 free farmcash PLUS the drinks/food you buy PLUS the little prizes like the cow and other things that would have most likely cost farmcash in the market for all less then 10 bucks...how can I pass that up. When 200 farmcash would have been over 30+ dollars alone. Plus the big gulp and slurpee cups are so cute and washable and reusable. hahaha Like I said addicted (well maybe not because this is the ONLY time I have spent "real" money on the game...so I haven't built up debt and have a life outside it unlike some others who play. lol) But I do love the game. :)

Well, since you've justified the promotion from a practical standpoint (aka getting actual food, lots of in-game money, reusable cups), I'll leave my jeering to a minimum- though in hindsight, I'm in no place to jeer others on pay content, when I myself have had a history of paying for online game content. :p

I'll at least give you props for being involved with a game whose proceeds mostly go towards humanitarian aid/relief. :)
