I'm eating beeeans

Beans, beans, they're good for your heart, the more you eat the more you...

So last night I went out. Out out. OUT out out, with my workmates. And it was...good, in a weird way. Well...we went to some pubs on Caxton Street, where at one was an African reggae band, which was cool to hear. There was also a karaoke bar in the same pub, which I won't speak about. >> Well, I didn't sing, I just ran away. << Then we went down the street to this bar that had this huge dance floor...and by that time I was completely sober, I had only had a few drinks anyhow. Liquid bread. T_T

...there's this really old movie on tv and its amusing me, the 'falling in love' scenes...

The thing was, I seem to attract old men. :| I suppose that's...erm. IS that better than attracting none? xD

First was Adam's (the head chef) brother. I was talking to him, and I just thought we were having a good chat! About nothing, really. And then Bianca and Nu (other waitresses) came up to me later and was like 'HE WAS HITTING ON YOU.' and I was like...'Really?! O_o'. And he was 28. That's TEN YEARS. And Bianca and Nu had a chat about it with me, and then later he (his name was Todd) came up and was like, 'so, have they convinced you that I'm too old for you yet? I have sharp ears, you know.' He wasn't angry or anything, but I really should have said something like 'do YOU think you're too old for me?' but I was just like...'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeheheheheheh. o_O' When he left he told me 'It was very lovely to meet you' and I just said 'I feel the same.' Because he was so nice. But short. And yeah it all freaks me out.

But then there was this other guy, who was dancing. Because I was forced to dance. T_T and it was baaaaaad because this guy, Jason, asked me to dance. He was obviously older, and I said yes, mainly because I didn't see a reason not to - as in, it was the first time anything like that had happened to me so, what was there to loose? Conclusion: I just DON'T SEE THE POINT of two people of the opposite gender grinding against each other when you can smell the alcohol on his breath and all he's doing is complimenting you, and generally being sleazy. By the end of it, when Giardt got thrown out and everyone else decided to go home I was grateful, but that was before Jason forced my number out of me. Well he didn't force, I felt sorry for him. T_T He was actually nice, I think he was a bit drunk though. And I gave him my OLD mobile number, so yeah. I'll be rid of it soon, but then hey it came in quite useful in this instance. xD I just hope he doesn't ring me. Stupid of me to give it to him, but I wouldn't let him buy we a drink and I refused to let him kiss me when he lunged. But he was alright with that, so yeah. I just....urrhgkjslsdj. No attraction to EITHER of these men. And it just makes me not comfortable with older men. Somehow. Gah. T_T

IT'S SAFER TO STAY INDOORS AT NIGHT, LOL.

...this old movie on tv is about an investigation into communists.

*sigh* I think I am completely naive.

It was a good experience though, and I definitely wasn't going to do what I didn't want to, besides giving Jason my number. I suppose that's what is annoying the hell out of me, considering that I DID do that, when I have no intention of ever speaking to him again. Makes me feel nasty tooo.

...and Giardt was so drunk it was rather disgusting. Could hardly talk, hardly stand up. He likes the shots too much. He kept slipping into speaking Afrikaans, and the taxi managers were saying that drivers might not take him since he was swearing and screaming. He wasn't being aggressive though. He kept apologising. But that part was just...annoying? I just don't like excessive alcohol and...what it does to people.

ANYHOW.

going out, alcohol, drunkedness, interesting, men, gah
