Today...
...yesterday now. Yesterday was Halloween, but uh...nothing cool happened. Except while I was walking back home from the bus stop at around 7:30pm there was this HUGE group of little kiddies dressed up and I was like...hahahah they probably won't get any lollies. n_n But they were cute. And they were giving out free chocolates in the supermarket!!
I went in for this group interview for Angus and Robertson, the bookstore. It was weird. It was like an audition; we were given a random book and then had to try to sell it to a woman, while another two observed. DX I got this book about Bono (from U2) which was GREAT, since I know a lot about him etc etc but gah I was still bad. I've never had to try and sell anything in my life. >> And then we were split up into groups and were given a deck of cards and a packet of paper clips, and instructed to make a higher card tower than the other group. Heehee my group won by a mile, the other group had a pile of cards on the table. But, we might have only had a huge standing card tower because we had a professional card tower builder on our team. >>
She was so cool.
Anyway. They told us that they'd let us know either way by Friday, but I haven't got huge high hopes on getting a job there. Then! Then I went and met with Laura and Dian and had lunch and then etc. Dian had to go to work so Laura and I did...girly things. o_o; Shopping! Coffee and cheesecake! D&M'd. Gossiping. etc. I bought a handbag? >>;
I needed one! DX
And theeeeeen...that took like seven hours. Srsly. Fun fun fuuuun amazingly. :D I generally don't like shopping...n_n.
When I was walking through the city on my way home to my bus stop there was a busker. He was a middle aged man who couldn't play the violin. At all. And you have to audition to busk on the Queen Street Mall, so...but. I mean. I just thought it was a strange paradox...okay shutting up now. u_u
They had the 20 best love songs on the show 20 to 1 on tv when I got home. One of my FAVOURITE songs ever came at number 10. And it made me go crawl the internets to find the ORIGINAL of the song, that I've always known I didn't have. Gah. It made me so happy to find it. I love this song. n_n
