My mama rang me at 2pm today saying that the couriers had rung her to say that they were dropping off Icchan between 2-5pm and I had to be home, so I got myself back only to sit there until 6pm being bored and watching useless television and THERE WAS NO ICCHAN TO BE SEEN. DX I could have spent the entire afternoon in the LIBRARY working on my ASSIGNMENTS that are due on FRIDAY but no. n_n Hmph. HMPH I SAY.

Actually, while sitting there watching tv I was on the phone to mama most of the while as she shopped for laptops to buy AND I AM NOW THE OWNER OF A DELL INSPIRON 6400 LAPPY that has been heavily upgraded and such and such and I love my mummy. :D We chose it because it had most of what I wanted (if I was to get what I REALLY wanted, we would have spent a WHOLE lot more but these things are so unfair like that n_n) at the lowest value, simple as that. *excited* I've received the emails confirming everything already. *_* It's supposed to come within 10 daaaaaaaaaaays.

Lets hope that Dell couriers are better than damn Acer couriers. DX

My housemates keep telling me that I am lost without a computer. They find it quite amusing. D: Am I THAT dependent?? XD Actually my mother seems to think so, she was rather eager to buy me a new one.

And with that. I was rather alright about spending a bit more than we might of because of the scholarship I received at the beginning of the year, so we had that money to play with. And to buy a new laptop was something I'm willing to spend the dollars on. But mama informed me that that money was used towards my operations.

...why doesn't she tell me these things? Especially since, like, you know, it's MY MONEY.

However. I realise my mother has complete control over my and my brother's money, she does it all on the internet, managing everything really well. It's never bothered me before and I KNOW she just forgot to mention it. That my scholarship money needed to be used for such. And in the end, I trust her financial decisions much more than whatever I could come up with. All in all, I was quite pleased with how not-angry I reacted. n_n;;

Although that might have been because I knew she was dishing out another couple of thousand for me at the time. Hmmm.

Sometime soon I realise I'll have to take over my own financial situation, and I suppose that time is coming up soon. Two months? Two months until I'm legally an adult. O______________o SCARY.

Regardless, I am extremely happy with the laptop we bought. So. It's okay.

GAH THIS MORNING. The tutor in my tutorial told the rest of the class that I was absent for surgery. n_n So I was all welcomed back and asked-how-I-was'd etc etc...I hate attention like that. Actually the same thing happened when I had to leave and tell the band, but I was alright with everyone knowing because leaving for six weeks needs to have some explanation (it's a longer time since I'm not allowed to carry the drum for six weeks. DX). Still. GAH. n_n So awkward.

'Attention please. Theives are currently operating on campus. Please take good care of valuables. Thank you.' Being in the library so much as I have this last week, I hear this nearly every day. x_x
