There's just no way Stan could have ever really regained all of his power, right under my nose! I- I don't remember, and even if I did....I don't know, hit my head or something, and its slipped my mind-

It's inconceivable that he could ever amount to something like that! I mean aside from a few...solid attacks, yes, he was fairly containable and nonthreatening? Completely all bluster and ego.
