Half-Assed Panshots & A Non-Pervy Look at GW's Nether Regions (Well, Almost)
Long story short: I need sleeeeeep. T.T
Long story long: I need sleeeeeep. T.T I've been trying to write something about Cathy for GW500's Catherine week, but it's not working because I need sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Which, for various tl;dr reasons, I can't get. So instead, I settled for admiring how unendingly pretty she is. Prettiest character in the show, if you ask me. Even prettier than Relena, and we all know how I think about her.
Heero should take lessons from Cathy. She actually makes spandex look good.
But anyway, in my bout of craziness yesterday I had to go through some of the episodes again because I discovered I didn't have a screencap of everyone. This resulted in two things:
Firstly, lots of Sylvia Noventa, including two would-be panshots. Apparently, when the camera moves in a certain direction it also imperceptibly moves in depth or something, because no matter what I do, I can't get three caps to fit properly on all sides, what the hell?
It's probably because I am newb and digitally illiterate. *shrug*
Secondly, the following screencap:
You're looking at her breasts, aren't you? It's okay, I am too. (Soup and boobies on a platter, om nom nom. Wipe that emo off your face Trowa Barton. Are you a man or what?)
But please now direct your attention to her hips. Notice how, while her chest and shoulders aren't really all that big, her hips somehow look much narrower. In this particular pic it could just be me, but the upper part of her torso just looks off, compared to the lower part + legs.
Now take this random piece of official art:
Look at Heero's butt. No really, look. Look at Quatre's hips. Look at Trowa's. And in all of these, look:
Something is terribly, terribly wrong here. I've been saying "look at their hips, look at their ass" - but they don't have any. They have no pelvis, no hip bones. From the looks of it, no dangly parts either. Their torsos just taper off toward the bottom, and then the legs stick out like - like sticks from holes in the underside. IN THREE HUNDRED ODD YEARS, HUMANITY WILL HAVE EVOLVED ENOUGH TO MAKE YOUR DESCENDANTS THINK YOU WERE DEFORMED IN THE NETHER REGIONS. \O_o/
You kind of fail at anatomy there, Gundam Wing.
So, yeah. That's something that's always bugged me about GW's animation. Don't judge meeeeeeeeeeeee , I need sleeeeeeeep. T.T
