Gundam Wing is an open canon again AFTER MORE THAN TEN YEARS. A kind fan has already started translating the prologue of the new novel, and now it seems like there'll be a new manga too?!
Avatar: the Last Airbender is going to be an open canon again in 2011, and the new mini-series will be called Avatar: the Legend of Korra.
Darker than BLACK was finally a closed canon again when the last installment of the OVA came out a couple of days ago, but it looks like a third season is already being planned. (Like we didn't see that coming miles away. *snorts and pats*)
My-HiME has kind of been an open canon on and off ever since the original story finished, and the latest revival of the franchise is an alternate retelling manga called My-HiME EXA.
Does this feel weird? Yes. Does this feel good? HELL YES.
