hello, red carpet
so last week i went online searching for tix to see 'the dark knight' on imax next thursday at a midnight screening. i happen to live down the block from the only imax theater in manhattan, and i really wanted to see it before leaving for home on friday. plus, i love a good midnight screening. well, every single screening was sold out. like several weeks in advance. i even looked up 4 am, 6 am screenings. nada.
so, i resign myself to seeing it a week later.
fast forward to yesterday evening. naz calls up and says he has a surprise. two tix to a preview screening of 'the dark knight' this monday night. hurrah! he won some contest. so we're all happy and stuff. problem solved.
cut to this afternoon. naz went to pick up the tix and found out that it's not just a preview screening. it's the motherfreaking PREMIERE. like the red carpet and all that craziness. right here, at the lincoln square theater up the block. so we're going! how awesome is that? christian bale!
