LJ Royally Screwed Up
Anyone here notice something different with their accounts lately, at least when you're logged out? Yeah, more ads. Normally I wouldn't give a hoot but I do have some non-LJ people who read my D&D stuff here and, not only are the ads an eyesore, but it screws with the layout. Frippin A. This might be the thing to kill LJ for me unless I can find a layout I can stand.
I guess this all started earlier this year when LJ was bought out by some Russian company. One of the other things they did was discontinue the creation of Basic accounts. Unless you already had a Basic, you now have to have an account with ads or be a paid member. Rotten tomatoes there.
