In which Google sues the United States of America

Or, more specifically, the Department of the Interior.

You see, here's the deal.

The Department of the Interior is looking for a "single hosted email and collaboration services solution" for it's nearly ninety thousand employees.

Sounds like a relatively simple system to create, right? Well, there's a catch - you only get to design the hardware setup. Whatever hardware you assemble, you've got to use proprietary software . . . and untested proprietary software, at that.

Call me crazy, but isn't using untested proprietary software kind of STUPID?
