Long story short:

General Electric buys a company that specializes in making cooling systems which also generate electricity.

(The way I understand it, the cooling system is attached to a piece of equipment that generates a lot of heat while in operation - heat which would normally go to waste. The heat from the equipment turns a working fluid - in this case, a refrigerant - into a vapor, which then drives a turbine to generate electricity before the working fluid is condensed back into a liquid. Lather, rinse, repeat.)

This could be very useful indeed.
