Because of Jacqueline's insistence, I've decided to start updating this thing again. Maybe not as often as I used to back in high school, but it's a start, I guess.
So the second semester of LSU has started ... and it's probably going to be a bit harder than first. The classes I'm taking right now are a bit more involved than the ones I'd scheduled last term, but the thing that's draining me is work. I started to teach at Princeton Review again this semester, and on most Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:00-8:30 I have to teach a SAT class at Episcopal High. It's pretty fun to teach this group of kids, as most of the students are motivated to learn ... a BIG difference from my class at Lafayette. The thing that sucks about working is the schedule, as I've got class from 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays ... so I'm literally burnt out by the time I come back to the dorm.
Ooh ... ooh ... COON ASS dropped out of LSU! If any of you were wondering, Coon Ass lived a few doors down from my room and oftentimes got drunk with a couple of my roommates, Ryan and Alex, IN MY ROOM ... and I'm not talking about a few drinks, but literally finishing a case of beer each time he came. It always happened at the most inopportune times ... before my Differential Equations exams. Coon Ass also had severe, uncontrolled ADD, and you can see why I'm so glad that he left. If you wanted to know how bad it got, Coon Ass sober was worse than Ryan and Alex shitfaced. So now it's really quiet in my room, and it's now a decent place to study, read, sleep, etc. Speaking of housing, Arman and I are getting an apartment next year in ECA. Wes, another one of my roomies, is thinking about staying in ECA too. Rock.
The good thing about this week is that, in observance of Mardi Gras (or just my luck with scheduling), I don't have to go to work on Thursday! So I'm probably going to see Elektra with Adam, Aaron, (probably) Jack, and who knows who else ... then Mardi Gras (Endymion, specifically), which I'm looking forward to. One of my friends, Sabina, has relatives who live in New Orleans, and MAY volunteer her house for the night (... though I wonder what her family would have to say about having eight to ten people stay over ...), which would kick ass ... I could use a break from all this schoolwork.
Time to do Statics crap.
