Class: one week later; Relatives
One week of class is now over; the students are doing exceptionally well, with one girl increasing her score by 220 points. Next week's going to be really bad for me and especially for the students, with three full days (Monday is a test and a class, Tuesday features two sessions of class, and Wednesday is just like Monday) in the conference room. Fortunately, I've secured a hotel Monday night so I won't have to drive back and then prep out the lessons. I'll probably get them a Raisin' Canes tailgate pack or pizza Thursday, and we'll celebrate together.
Some of my relatives came over for the weekend; we hung out around the levee Friday night and saw a plantation home yesterday. That was a good break from work.
