Its been a long time since I've posted.
School has started back up for me. I am currently undergoing 15 units which is more than it seems and for these reasons: 1. The classes demand 20 times more effort than I put in previous semesters (definetly not a bad thing, but rough), 2.I have two classes that meet twice a week for 6 hours a day, and 3. I have work on the days I don't do school. For those reasons, I am tied up in a committed knot, but I have to say that I am actually pleased about this. Tis the first semester away from ANY family and though the classes are rough, I definetly can use a challenge. Other than school, I've been working which is going excellent, though I currently seem to be tied in a catch-22. I need to lower my hours for the simple fact that I am currently claimed by my parents which state law dictates that any person(s) under the age of 24 still claimed as a dependent under gaurdian or otherwise cannot exceed the income of 10,000 dollars. So I've cut back work hours drastically, only working a mere 24 hours a week (which still demands a lot of work), working on Friday, Saturday and Sunday's. The problem lays in my oddly good work ethics which have impressed the managers and resulted in them increasing my income. ...
In the home life, Tammy and I are both still adapting to the indy's life, her more than myself. When we see each other (only briefly, VERY briefly) we get along great, at least from my perspective. The apartment is maintaining a degree of filth, mostly on my part, that doesn't seem to go away. Mind you, I do pick up now and again, but the cleanliness only last for but a brief span of time before everything is everywhere once more. I have stated to Tammy that if she ever felt that I needed to clean (which I do, I really do) to inform me and I will do it A.S.A.P. I do try but I also still have a lot of scheduling interupting my normal duties. When I do have time, I will not lie, I probably spend it sleeping or not sleeping, but watching t.v. or staring at our newly recieved pet fish.
That is right, Tammy and I are now official pet owners. They aren't some cheap idiotic goldfish that are just going to die in 4 days either. These fish actually have intellegence and personality, which is odd for me to see in a fish. We own 3 Oscars (2 albino tiger and one red tiger) and 1 blue lobster named Phil Collins. We did have an albino catfish, but unfortunately, he passed on early this morning. Obviously devastated (heh) I gave the little guy his proper burial at see (after using it myself of course, RESPECT NOW c'mon). Hopefully the others will be okay which they should be. They are all carnivorous; the two albinos, however, are still young so they feast on freeze-dried brine ship while the big guy (red tiger) eats live minnow and small goldfish. Its great. The lobster, which I haven't yet sighted today, hides in his castle and comes out at the oddist times to climb the shrubbery of the tank. I hope he hasn't died either, though he could be curled into the fetal position as we speak, decaying from the inside out
Other than that people, I haven't really been up to much and can't wait for spring break. I think we are going to do something. Tammy and I are thinking of upgrading to a two bedroom in the near future so maybe if we do, we can finally have more than two people stay in our apartment with having to worry about back injuries by coffee table or such. I'm off to my next class so I will talk to you soon. Call if you so desire.
