Life, as it was my own.
Its been about 1 week since Tammy and I have been on our own. I must say, its been quite the interesting thing, living by yourself. Tammy is gone most of the week this week, having made a four day pit stop in the buttcrack of America to attend school, and I remain here. Lets see, whats new...CABLE. Yes! Oh gosh, yes! I can now ignore the generic, stale smell of the 60 year old apartments without wondering if the smell is caused by a random gas leak via the stove pilot light, or whether it be the 50 year old led based paint that I smell eminating odor from off the walls. I actually sleep now. Funny thing, I didn't actually start sleeping until Julia began staying the night. It is cool though, she keeps me company, even if Tammy and I leave her alone in the apartment for 6 hours at a time while we go to work.
This past week and weekend was interesting. First because of the whole move, and still we are not settled in. Our walls are blank except for my one Zebra picture and Becky's homemade dreamcatcher that she made for me for my birthday a few years back. That was amusing becuase I brought it, with full intentions of putting it over my bed, but me superstitious rectal region of a mom decided that it needed to be put up immediately and so, with her strenuous attempts to stand on my futon (which I constantly have a fear is going to break) and reach the outer rim of my window, which still she had a hard time doing, she made one feeble attempt to put the catcher up and it stayed!...for about an hour. Still, I commend her for the attempt.
Last week, Tammy and I both seemed to have a hard time getting off our asses and back to school, but we finally did *sigh*.
Julia came over again this weekend it was quite amusing. We went to macaroni grill, where we played a nice game tic tac toe, and *chuckles* hangman. We then went home to where, the day before, I saw a side of Julia I thought I'd never see, *dying of laughter*...and so did Tammy. Class is underway so I have to go, I will complete this entry with another hopefully soon. Everyone enjoy your week, peace
