Today another trek to the chocolate hospital for a cast change and a dye test to see if Gid's hip is in fact in place.
He had to be put under and was quite upset at all of the people poking him and prodding him. The good news is that
his hip does indeed appear to be in place. We are half way, only six more weeks of this!
In an odd coincidence today is the one year anniversary of Gideon's homecoming. I am a totally different person than the
one that faced this night a year ago. Tonight both babies are sleeping in their own cribs, peacefully. Last year i slept with both of them
on my chest all night long because i couldn't be close enough to them, with the light on, barely sleeping an hour. Having these children
has given me the first real confidence i've ever had. Aside from all that though, i want to say how happy i am that our little miracle boy is still home with us.
He has changed my entire view on life and possibility. I will never again count another human out because some doctor made an educated guess.
