well, i still don't agree with what Quest has done, and i'm still unhappy about the whole mismanagement of the event. but i appreciate their formal apology and on some rumours that have been flying around being cleared up.
i know that certain happenings like the delay in the showcase can't be helped because of JYJ's tight schedule, but what I and a lot other fans would have appreciated was an official announcement during those two hours of queueing on why we were waiting instead of leaving us hanging with no idea what happened. i'm sure all the fans would have been willing to wait patiently if we knew that JYJ were still rehearsing inside, but atm we had no idea what was happening, hence the disgruntled and angry fans like me.
and although i wasn't a VIP ticket holder, the phototaking being cancelled was pretty awful to hear about, especially since they paid such an extravagant price for it. but i appreciate Quest mentioning that in the letter and committing themselves to a follow-up on the situation to respond to the VIP-ers. and i understand if JYJ management were the ones who made the last minute cancellation since korean agencies aren't exactly very easy to handle either.
the free tickets thing is still something i will never agree with, because i believe it is unprofessional and unfair to the cassies who have paid extravagant amounts for the showcase. but oh well, it's over.
all in all, this won't absolve Quest of the mishaps that happened, but i really do appreciate this letter. i still hope that JYJ won't come back under Quest, but if they do, that Quest do a better job this time, with more time and not screw things up so badly.
i never thought i'd say this, but thank you Quest. not for the successful showcase, but for at least heeding the fans and apologising (: now i am partially appeased (i'm easy to sway like that D:) and i can get back to my studying in peace.
