(lj is totally not cooperating with me now and refusing to let me post pictures, so this huge title of the movie will have to suffice until lj decides that they like me again D:)
it's a fantastic movie, and this is the first movie, since lord of the rings which i absolutely adore and is my number one all-time film, that i walked out of the cinema and felt so good and that the two and a half hours spent there was definitely not a waste. The graphics in Avatar is simply mind-boggling, and it's even better if you watch it in 3-D, which i did. it's like, you're totally transported into a totally new universe which is just so beautiful and at the end of it, you're left wondering how can just one man, think up this entire universe and direct it into an absolutely fantastic movie.
i'm ignoring the critics and all the hate reviews directed towards this movie of course, because hey, when has something been totally critic-free?
but i truly did enjoy the movie, and the two and a half hours just flew past, leaving me wishing for more. this is a totally incoherent review right now, but i'm just pimping the movie either way. it's a fantastic watch, and in my opinion, one of the best films made in 2009. seriously, i haven't felt this way about a movie for so long, and haven't watched such a good movie in ages.
