The Andersons: Chapter 7
Welcome back to The Andersons: an OWBC. Last chapter we saw the beginning of the end for the founder generation, as generation "LPR" had begun to come into their own. Let's find out what's in store for our heiress Omalia and her family this time.
Why, hello Nina!
Nina: "That silver fox booted me out of his house again."
Didn't I say in one chapter that she wanted Pao? She was totally heartfarting him as she left the Andersons' home.
Here we see the parade to get on the schoolbus that happens every morning. Right before school I try and get one of the other kids to talk to Pierce or do some sort of activity with him that I can cancel once the bus arrives so Pierce will always go to school instead of do something more engaging like play the piano and forget about the bus.
Here's Lucie's "yay birthday" face. Because it's Ryder and Regan's birthday!
Ouch, Regan, you're the first super ugly kid of this generation. Regan rolled fortune aspiration, like Aaden. His LTW is to be a Business Tycoon. If for some odd reason he gets voted heir, that's totally doable.
Squee! My little Ryder's cute! Even though Regan's the younger of the twins, I've always considered Ryder to be the baby of the family. And I love how he's a unique kind of cute, like his momma. Ry rolled family aspiration, which I think suits him to a T. Even though he only has 6 nice points, he's super sweet to everyone. Like Omalia, he wants to raise 20 puppies or kittens. Crud.
He and Lucie get along famously too. I think it's funny how they're always together because they're sort of my favorites for this generation... what? who said that?
Pao: "Yeah! I win again!"
Ryder: "Aww Grampa. You beat me AGAIN."
I just thought that picture was cute. Poor Ryder.
Regan: "Dani, twins are supposed to be equal. Why don't you ever talk about me?"
Because, dear Regan, ever since you've been a teen, you've beaten up on your poor uncontrollabel older brother!
I don't kid. The night Regna turned teen he attacked poor Pierce.
Pierce: "Um, please remove your arm from my head. Kthx."
Good thing Pierce won. Regan deserved to lose that fight.
Regan: "But Luce, HE attacked ME!"
Lucie: "Ryder, is that true?"
Ryder: "I dunno. I just walked in on them fighting and tried to break them up, but they didn't listen to me."
Lucie, being the good big sister with what I'm beginning to think is one big, HUUUUGE nice point, knew exactly how to handle this.
Lucie: "Now boys, play chess until your daily relationship score is up to 100. That should mellow out your teen angst."
Pierce: "Have you always worn a hat?"
I forgot to mention, Lucie got a job in the slacker career because I was tired of having so many teens at the house all the time. It's also getting her a few steps closer to her LTW.
Lucie: "Dani, I'm a champ now, Juice time now?"
She loves that bird. Oh, and see chubby Aaden in the background? There's a story to that.
Well one night Aaden was stargazing and I left for a minute because I had something in the oven and had to take care of it, and I THOUGHT I paused the game.
I come back to find this. Sure enough, getting abducted is in Aaden's memory. AND I MISSED IT.
So for a few days, this is what it was like at the house. Aaden being whiny and pregnant, my two pugnacious boys playing chess, and Lucie and Ryder doing whatever they wanted to because I love them.
Aaden, no one wants to see that.
Lucie: "Come on Clark. I'm a romance sim. I need aspiration fodder."
That's one of the worst pick up lines I've ever heard, but apparently it worked.
Now, Lucie wants 2 loves and 3 makeouts. Great. What have I gotte myself into?
Aaden: "Um, not sure what's going on here, but I'm pretty sure I'm having a baby."
And somehow, a little green girl was brought into the lives of the Anderson family. Meet little Sadie. I wanted to give her as human a name as I could because she's obviously the oddball of this family, with no relations to the founder or heir of the OWBC.
Mali the family sim takes care of little Sadie like she was her own daughter, though.
Is that not the cutest thing ever?
With that said, Mali and Aaden have been able to have a couple days of freedom with Sadie asleep and everyone else at school or work. But soon enough, it was time for Sadie to become a toddler.
Aaden: "Okay Sadie, the moment of truth, are you cute or not?"
Oh my goodness! Lipnose doesn't look half bad on aliens! Sadie's other father is a default PT replacement made by Bitsy. And he has elf ears. Which Sadie has too! =) I'm so happy about my little green baby.
Now Sadie's really sweet, but alas she can't be heir. So now its YOUR turn to choose. Will it be Lucie, the leader of the generation with an obsession for birds and seafoam green? Or will you choose Pierce, the seemingly kind and defenseless knowledge sim who I know nothing about? Could you somehow choose the nasty Ryder who wants to be a business tycoon but maybe secretly would rather take over the world? Or would it instead be his innocent little brother Ryder with the big green eyes and a desire to have a big family?
