Heheh. As I mentioned in Ffamfran's Winry still finds the manner in which they met most humorous. She was a little nervous about being around Kiros and Fft at first, but it didn't take her long to realize that they were good people and didn't harbor the ill sentiments that many of the Victoria did.
Again, as I said both were incredibly charming which was something new for it, but she appreciated it.
Unlike Ffamran, Kiros and Winry have talked ALOT during their time apart. You know how much they talk about so much of the political aspects of Reial, and then they have their moments where they fan over mechanics and technology. Kiros is like Winry's debate buddy. Even when they are at heads about a subject she loves to hear about his side of things, and really respects his opinions whatever they may be.
The they had that huge debate that Beat, Kiros, Rikku, and Winry had on their journal, she was really impressed by Kiros' argumentation, and the fact that he isn't blind to Ivona like many people are, or try to be. But at the same time he saw the faults of pirates and Vohemaros which she also saw as a good thing, because they also have their share of faults. Nonetheless she argued so vehemently against the pirate lifestyle for many obvious reasons. After that she really became scared about the Peace Conference, because she thought that one he figured out how she had lied to him, and what she was, that he would drop their friendship.
When he didn't, and when he in fact treated her more kindly than she had ever been treated in many years she almost wanted to cry ;w; She knew that Kiros had gone out of his way to reassure her, but that made her all the more touched.
For Winry, Kiros is a lot of things; and she feels that if she ever needs to be picked up again she just needs to look at his gift. She's always been an optimist, but having someone there who would actually listen to her speeches and ideas and not just slight them because she is young or a girl has made her all the more determined to pull through with all her goals.
