...don't be, Kambei. You gave a fair warning, and it was only circumstance that put us in a bad position. It also took us a really long time to try and get the storage up...

Reprimanding yourself won't do anything. We're fine now, and that's what counts. More importantly, could you fill me in on what the hell has been happening? The group tells me about trouble but they don't have details...

It seems that our ship was 'sabotaged', Winry. Along with the Winding Way and the Victoria II for someone has planted explosives upon all three vessels.

Well at least that explains how the pipe broke to begin with. One of those bombs must have gone off early, or something.

Yes.

That is what the mechanics suspect and I trust their wisdom upon the matter.

No evidence at all. We do not have a clue as to who may have planted these explosives upon our ship but I do have a hunch this may have to deal with the incident at the Peace Conference.

As you know, others and I where not present upon this ship at the time...

However, I do believe this may have something to do with the assassination.

Yet, I do not remember the Winding Way being reported as present during those talks.

That was what I immediately suspected as well, though it does seem a little strange to me.

When they assassinated the ambassadors at the Peace Conference, my first thought was that they wanted to separate the two countries even further. I found it a little strange that they would kill them from both sides, however, since it would make it difficult to make the two countries try to pin it on one another.

The fact that they now attacked both the 4423 and the Victoria only makes this yet stranger, if anything they are giving us a common enemy with which to forge an alliance. I remember what Joshirou once said...

Still. The bigger question is how the Winding Way got involved in this as well.

Forge an alliance against 'Who?' I must ask.
I shall admit here and now, I do not understand what is taking place but I do believe our quarrels with this unknown nemesis are not over yet.

I have the crew working upon getting this ship airborne again.
The faster we can leave the Badlands, the better.

Be sure to take care out there and be cautious of your surroundings.
