10 more days until the LAN party.
To prepare for the LAN party I've spent about 80 dollars on games. I already had the games, but not exactly real copies. So to honor the effort of the programmers, not the companies that suck the blood from my veins, I have purchased true copies of all the games we are to play.
My efforts to obtain 'family licensing' for games goes once again unnoticed by the gaming companies. I really just want to have us all be able to play the same game with the blessing of the company. I realize the other side of the coin is to purchase 3 copies, but seriously, no effin way. I'd pay 15 extra bucks per key on top of the 40/50 dollars. I think that is fair. Along with the ability to play the game with a burned copy in the drive. Nothing like 9 year old fingerprints on a CD/DVD. Obviously the decision makers do not have children with sticky fingers!
Interview tomorrow- phone interview. 9am. Cross fingers.
