My draft is done and submitted! Whew! Now I'm thinking about rewrites. Do we usually do those before having a beta look at it? I know you mentioned matching up betas at some point. When does that happen? (I've done this before but I have a terrible memory).

So your story needs to be beta'd before it is posted. At what stage in the editing process you want to start working with a beta is up to you. We will have a post going up Tuesday or Wednesday to help match people up. Whether you bring your beta in during rewrites or before or after is really all about your writing style.

I had a slight setback due to what happened early this week but I am on track to get 5k done today.

I didn’t plan on writing with fracture toes so it has been a bit of a challenge but I refuse to stop until it is done.

Anxious artist here! This is my first time doing art instead of writing. I can't wait to start using all the supplies I've collected (I'm doing mixed media--paper/digital) over the past two months.
