Victory & stuff!
I'm done!
It took me about a month - I only started once I had signed up - and here I am, 40,000 words written, feeling accomplished as hell. The story came out pretty much the way I wanted it to, just hopefully not too wordily since I'm covering about 60 years in two timelines.
Now I'm gonna let it all settle and start editing in a few days, then send it over to my alpha reader. Real life will keep me busy for a while now, anyway (since my husband and me will very likely buy a house next week, yay!).
God, that's such an awesome feeling. *showers all the members of omgspnbigbang in confetti and goes to bed because it's 1:30 a.m.*
To all of you out there who are still working: You can do it! And trust me, it feels so great when you've made it, so never give up :)
