Yeah, I really wanted to breastfeed as long as I COULD, and under the circumstances, I think I did. I could have kept expressing and giving it to her that way, but it was obvious to me once we tried a little formula that my breast milk was not all that great for her. Every baby is different, and putting them all under the umbrella of "breast is best" doesn't always work, unfortunately.

Charlotte was definitely happier on formula, once we got the constipation sorted. Yucky. She's weaned now, too, and seems to be able to stomach normal cow's milk quite well, so all of this seems to FINALLY be behind us.

And ahaha, I also like "too posh to push". xD

It sucked. I had to help get some out at one point because she was screaming and in so much pain, it was awful.

I chose to have an elective c-section myself because of my various anxiety problems, as well as the fact I have chronic fatigue syndrome and I doubt I would have been able to go through a long labour (and the first child is usually a long labour, I've been told). I don't regret it AT ALL.

Ahahah I like taking pictures of Charlotte, but I only post the really good ones. I don't expect people to fawn over my kid, since she's my kid, so I do the fawning myself - it's more for my own recordkeeping that I post pics. xD

Ewh yeah, I have fibro too sooo yeah, ick. I was going to try for a "normal" birth but about 2 months from my due date I started freaking out, so I finally got the c-section sorted. It was a weight off me. LITERALLY.
