(no subject)
FFXIII is good so far. I'm just relieved they changed the damn battle system back from the non...encounter...based in FFXII idk how to explain it? Like you run up to a dude and go into the battle mode instead of just running up to a dude and stabbing him in the face like in FFXII. That was annoying because it was harder to avoid. Not sure if I miss the random encounters of previous FFs or not.
Why do all the main characters have such stupid names? I haven't played much, but let me see. We have the typical badass, stoic character. We have the black guy who is the comedy relief (baby chocobo living in his afro? Seriously?) and we have a joke-y blonde guy who is all "I R TEH HERO!" I'm trying not to let Snow remind me of Tidus. And not to make snap judgments, since I've only played for half an hour god I suck. I just can't sit back, relax and play because I'm worried about this child. :(
The controls of the XBox aren't that difficult to get used to so far. Pretty much the same as Playstation's, except the arrow pad and the second joystick is in a different position. It's actually easier to hold the controller than the chunky PS2 bits. PS3's look better BUT I'M GLAD I GOT AN XBOX OKAY.
