Reposting so that I can find it when I have the time to make it in the coming weeks. :)

I've been searching around for some fun fall crafts and found this one (Apple Printing) here at http://www.craftbits.com/project/apple-prints. It's a neat project where you take actual apples and essentially turn them into stamps by cutting them in half. The picture and instructions below are from Craftbits.com.

Materials-
3 Apples
Different Colored Paints
Popsicle Sticks
Paper Plates
Paper

Directions-
First, cut your apples. You need to cut them as straight and flat as possible. If they are not flat, paint will not show up on the paper in certain spots. You can cut your apple all different ways. One side shows the fun star shape from the center, or cutting lengthwise will show the apples true shape. Both are fun.
Now, get your paint ready. Pour one color of paint onto the paper plate. Take a stick and put it in the top end of the apple to give your stamp a handle. Then dip in paint, and stamp. You may need to rock the apple back and forth to make sure the stamp got all sides.

Ideas-
Cards
Place Markers
On a T-shirt or Tote  (To paint on a t-shirt or tote, put a thick layer of paper inside the shirt/tote to prevent the fabric paint from bleeding through to the back of the fabric)
Treat Bags (For trick or treaters or Halloween parties)

My Project-
I decided to make trick or treat bags to pass out during Halloween. I'll put a few little extra things in them for the kids.
