Life as I know it...
Everything has changed for me in the last few months.... for the better that is.
Senior year is incredibly busy, and at some points disappointing. It calls for a lot of work, and a great deal of stress, but it has also provided me with more laughs, and better memories than any other year I can remember. I've put the summer of 2009 behind me. Too many memories I don't care to remember and so much life ahead of me that I try as hard as I can not to look back.
I'm looking forward to college acceptance letters (and probably one rejection) and moving on to the rest of my life. Graduation is June 12th. Seven short month and high school will be over. All of my disappointments, and heartaches- all of my tears and stress will pay off. Nine short months away, I will be moving into a dorm room about the size of my closest and loving every single minute of it.
As for this year, it's been filled with impromptu rock paintings, sleepovers, movie nights, and the most amazing youth group on the planet. Sure there is still the occasional bad time, stress, and fights with the mother. But all the same it has been quite an amazing year. And it's only one fourth of the way done.
I don't know, I think I may happier now than I was all summer, and even at the end of last year...
NCTC's was this weekend, we got third place, and Superior!
Regardless of the fat that we were clearly robbed of a few awards I'm super happy with what we did and how well we did.
Hoggard is going to states, and I'm going with them, to watch the plays and seen New Moon at midnight! I love them all and I cannot wait to experience that with them again this year.
