[04:25] Tesla4257: So.. in 2016
[04:26] Tesla4257: if Obama is reelected
[04:26] WidgetSam1: You mean 2012
[04:26] Tesla4257: At the end of his second term
[04:26] WidgetSam1: You're talking a 3rd term?
[04:26] Tesla4257: You gotta wonder who the heir apparent is gonna be.. Biden will be 74 and Hillary will be 69
[04:27] Tesla4257: Ya gotta wonder who the dems will run in 2016
[04:27] Tesla4257: Honestly, I don't think it will be one of those two
[04:28] WidgetSam1: Nope, nor do I.
[04:28] WidgetSam1: I don't think we've seen the runner in 2016
[04:28] Tesla4257: Yea, it'll probably be another 60's child
[04:28] Tesla4257: Like Obama
[04:28] Tesla4257: someone who'll be in their 50's
[04:29] WidgetSam1: I think Clare McCaskill's got a run in her.
[04:29] Tesla4257: Ooh, I dunno
[04:29] WidgetSam1: I'm honestly not sure if Biden will do a 2nd term as VP
[04:30] Tesla4257: Maybe, he is 4 years older than Cheney
[04:31] WidgetSam1: Here's the thing.
[04:31] WidgetSam1: Obama's the centerpiece of this duo.
[04:32] WidgetSam1: Biden's got no chance in 2016
[04:32] Tesla4257: Ahah! I see where you're going
[04:32] Tesla4257: Put in an apprentice
[04:32] WidgetSam1: Yeah, I see him taking on someone else as VP in his 2nd term in order to give someone the limelight that can ride his coattails.
[04:33] WidgetSam1: Obama needed Biden for an experience argument his first run.
[04:33] WidgetSam1: That point is moot the 2nd term
[04:33] Tesla4257: Yep, absolutely
[04:33] WidgetSam1: 'Cause he'll have the experience of being a president for a full term.
[04:33] Tesla4257: That's clever like a fox
[04:33] WidgetSam1: Fuck, we might see a Clinton VP
[04:33] Tesla4257: I don't think that's much better? She's basically a SLIGHTLY younger biden
[04:34] WidgetSam1: She might have a run in her
[04:34] WidgetSam1: I dunno, she's got so much baggage.
[04:34] WidgetSam1: I think she's vulnerable.
[04:34] Tesla4257: She'd be 69
[04:34] WidgetSam1: Unless she does something spectacular
[04:34] WidgetSam1: The perfect age for a woman
[04:34] Tesla4257: Maybe
[04:34] Tesla4257: I would say giggity, but it's Hillary
[04:35] WidgetSam1: True that.
[04:35] WidgetSam1: McCaskill's a woman, a Catholic, and from Middle America
[04:36] Tesla4257: And only 55
[04:36] Tesla4257: I could see it
[04:36] Tesla4257: She'd be a good choice
[04:37] Tesla4257: She's got some populist leanings, have you seen?
[04:37] Tesla4257: She was blasting bank exceutives bonuses on the senate floor
[04:37] Tesla4257: calling them "idiots"
[04:39] WidgetSam1: Yep!
[04:39] WidgetSam1: She apparently has gotten attention from all over the US for it.
[04:39] WidgetSam1: If she keeps herself at the forefront she'll ascend politically quite nicely.
[04:39] Tesla4257: And Obama likes her
[04:39] WidgetSam1: She was an early Obama supporter
[04:39] WidgetSam1: Going against the
[04:39] WidgetSam1: "women for Hillary" grain
[04:40] Tesla4257: Yea, she seems like a solid choice
[04:40] WidgetSam1: They would successfully convene the Obama-McCaskill Government
[04:40] WidgetSam1: AKA The OMG
[04:40] Tesla4257: lol
[04:40] Tesla4257: The funny thing is, she's the Junior Senator from Missourt
[04:40] Tesla4257: Missouri
[04:40] WidgetSam1: Right next door
[04:41] WidgetSam1: She could prolly bring 4k votes
[04:41] Tesla4257: If she won, she'd be the second Jr. Senator from Missouri to be president.
[04:41] WidgetSam1: Unless he fucks up though I see a Reagan-style 2nd term sweep
[04:41] Tesla4257: The republicans got nothing in 2012..
[04:42] Tesla4257: They might as well run palin, cause aint noone got a chance
[04:42] WidgetSam1: They'll give Palin a run
[04:42] WidgetSam1: BINGO
[04:42] WidgetSam1: They'll give her her run
[04:42] WidgetSam1: They'll laugh at her
[04:42] WidgetSam1: And use it as a chance to reform
[04:42] WidgetSam1: The moderates just might seize control of the party at that point saying, "Hey look fuckers, this shit isn't working"
[04:42] WidgetSam1: If they don't do it in 2010
[04:42] Tesla4257: They don't have a contender, so they have to throw in a placeholder
[04:43] WidgetSam1: If the republican moderates remaining don't take it after the loss in 2010, we get Palin
[04:43] WidgetSam1: If they do, we just might get a Crist and a real fight
[04:43] WidgetSam1: Palin would be their Dole
[04:43] WidgetSam1: The candidate perceived as deserving a run
[04:43] WidgetSam1: Who probably wouldn't stand a chance in a competitive election
[04:43] WidgetSam1: Let alone an uncompetitive one.
