I got out of the shower and I just got changed and Mama Bru is like "Stef, Molly's on the phone for you" and the convo goes something like this...
Me:"Hey Molz, what's up?"
Mo:"I need you to do me a favor"
Me:"Ok, what is it?"---I was thinking it'd be like "I forgot *blank* at home and I need you to drive it to A.I. before play practice."
Mo:"I need you to call the school and pretend to be my mom and get me an early dismissal"
Me:"Okaaay...what do I say"---I am well aware that I am 20 and therefore sound just like a twenty year old...even on the phone.
Mo:"Say like my brother got hurt and you need me to come home or something"
Me:"Okay, what's the number?"---she gives me the number
Mo:"And Stephanie, if you get me in trouble I'm going to kill you"

*So I write down the number and a small bit of what I'm going to say...I scrap the "hurt brother" idea for..."gramma has been ill in the hospital, and they called requesting that the family come to see her"*
I dial the number...and I'm mad nervous...
Some woman:"A.I. High School"
Me:"Hi, this is Mary Bruno, Molly Bruno's mother. We've had an unexpected family emergency and I need her to have an early dismissal."
Some woman:"Hold Please"
2 minutes later...
Some Other (more bitchy) woman:"Hi, how can I help you"
Me:"Hi, this is Mary Bruno, Molly Bruno's mother. We've had an unexpected family emergency and I need her to have an early dismissal."
Some other woman:"Who is this again?"
Me:"Mary Bruno, Molly Bruno's mother"
Some other woman:"Does Molly know about this emergency"
Me:"No, she doesn't"
Some other woman:"And when do you need her out?"
Me:"As soon as possible"
Some other Woman:"And When is her birthday"
Me:"*short pause* um, July 24th"
Some other woman:"and your birthday"
Me:*thinking to myself "FUCK!*---then this convo that I had with Mama Bru once about how we're both born in November but she's not a Scorpio b/c she was born Novermber 30th--"November 30th"
Some other woman:"Is there a number we can reach you at?"
Me:"Yes, 235-0222"
Some Other Woman:"Okay thank you, we'll let her know"
2 seconds later...the phone rings...caller ID says it's A.I.
Me:"Bruno Residence"
Same Bitch:"Did you just call asking to have Molly released"
Me:"Yes I did"
Same Bitch:"Well are records say she's been absent from all of her classes"
Me:"Are you sure?"
Same Bitch:"Yes, that's what they say"
Me:"Well, I'm going to call her cell and find out where she's at, thank you"
2 seconds later with Molly...
Me:"Molly, I just called and they said you're not in school and you're marked absent from all your classes"
Mo:"What!? I had an A.P. test they should know I'm not supposed to be absent"
Me:"Well I'll call them back and let them know..Oh and btw..if they ask...gramma is ill in the hospital and they called and asked for family to come see her"
Mo:"Ok"

Some Other Woman:"A.I. Dupont"
Me:"Hi, this is Mary Bruno. I just called to get my daughter Molly and early dismissal and they said she was absent. Well I just reached her on her cell phone and she had and A.P. test today so she shouldn't be absent"
Some Other Woman:"Okay, we're going to need to call her down to the office"
Me:"Thank you, have a good day"
So...I'm nervous as shit b/c they totally grilled me and I know they know that I'm not Mama Bru, but I did give them all the answers they needed...10 minutes later after crossing my fingers...Molly calls and tells me that the ladies in the office were being bitches but she got her early dismissal....I JUST PULLED A FERRIS BUELLER!!!! SUCCESS...hahahaha....talk about being on the spot...but taking risks can be fun...
