Work is also awful.
In the first post of this year's NaBlo, I mentioned how I've been at my current job for over a year. However, it hasn't always been easy. In fact, it's very difficult.
Two of my coworkers -- the ones I sit between -- are intentionally malicious to me, and I don't even know why. Maybe they're just naturally crusty assholes. Maybe they're jealous of me for something? Either way, it spells a lot of stress for me, and probably the catalyst for a positive feedback loop in which stress makes me make careless mistakes which stresses me out....
Presented without context (there's a lot of context we'd have to catch up on, but I think you can figure it out), but under a cut, straight from my tumblr post from earlier today.
a summary, though: tweedledee was yelling at me for something that didn’t make sense again so i started up the recorder on my phone to catch the ensuing scolding but 12:00 came first so i BOUNCED but i left my phone behind ... and it was still recording
they called me stupid, an idiot, lazy, and a reject (as well as applying that last title to others). tweedledum, especially, doesn’t like that i eat my lunch in the office (when she does herself sometimes! at least i know how to keep my mouth closed when i chew), and hopes that i won’t sit near her at the holiday party. she was also annoyed that i giggled while reading the invitation
that’s not even all of it because i haven’t listened to the whole thing
and yet tweedledum had the gall to tell me “if you have something to say about me say it to my face” a while go. like... you first lol
I knew they talked about me because they talk about everyone (while I'm there! As though I'm not! And I have to listen to their cattiness!!!), but I never knew how bad it was. From what I heard from the recording, if I didn't know them better, I'd guess they knew they were being recorded, but, no, they're really just that bitter.
I like my job, and it seems like Big Boss likes me -- or I wouldn't be around for so long, right? -- but these two are going to make me leave one way or another.
