It was pretty awesome!
I gave Esmeralda a plot summary last night, and I managed to avoid telling her who would die, only that "a LOT" of them would. It didn't prepare her for anything, and she was bawling practically the entire time.
I forgot who mentioned it, but someone pointed out how Russell Crowe had one expression the entire film and... yup, he sure did. And his singing wasn't that great (not that I can judge). I heard Anne Hathaway's performance was nothing short of sparkling and SWEET BABY JESUS she was incredible. And please excuse me while I'm distracted by Eddie Redmayne's freckles in EVERY SCENE HE'S IN. I've always liked freckles on people, but his are the best I've ever seen, dear god. *_*
The icing on the cake was when Es and I went to get dinner afterwards, and just as we walked in,
Died in Your Arms Tonight started playing on the radio. PFFFF.
And as I mentioned earlier today, hockey's back. I proudly wore my Rangers jersey today, and was in the shadow of MSG on the way to and from the movie theatre. Gonna look for more information about the season and the schedules and maybe tickets because I haven't had a chance to yet. Today was a good day! :D
