Seriously, all my hockey friends (even me!) were disappointed except fellow Rangers fans and the two Devils fans by the first round. I'm actually kinda impressed that it worked out that way.
and while i'm glad jersey made it which gives us a chance for a '94 rematch, i was kinda hoping they would lose so the rangers fans could be ~*the chosen ones*~
I think it might be a little easier to see in person, but the hump of the H bled a little bit into the upright, so it came out more angled than I'd intended. But you're right, desu's always good.
Well, you were going to be surprised or suspicious either way, since only one of them could advance to the second round. And while I can't speak for the other seven series, I sure as hell can complain about the shoddy officiating in the Rangers/Sens series. Not to sound like I worship the ground he walks on, but if something upsets Lundqvist the way it did after Game Six, that's pretty bad (and I'm still not over the two pucks in Game Two. Half LOL, half WTF). Suspending Hagelin for three games for an incidental elbow when he'd had no prior disciplinary measures? No retaliation for Boyle's concussion
( ... )
Haha, well you've got me there. It's still the playoffs, and you're bound to have two good, popular teams facing off somewhere and SOMEONE has to lose. (And now I want Nashville to lose because their fans are so damn rude but I want the Coyotes to lose because they're literally owned by the NHL and aaaaaugh)
Weird how? Beyond there being a lot of teams you don't generally think of as being very good? The numbers? I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE BLUES CAME FROM, I am still trying to figure that out, I even stuck my tongue out at them when we flew over them in the plane and it's like they didn't even care. They stank on ice just a few years ago. These playoffs, what the hell.
I also concur that the officiating has been excremently shoddy. I just augh flipping tables here
Here's to the next series!
I can't really see the 5-cake, but just a little desu never hurt anyone.
Congrats all around!
