SO FUCKING TIRED

A loooong day today.

For some reason, after going to bed at some stupidly late hour last night, I woke up on my own at half-past-eight. My alarm was set for nine. So I farted around for a while, and the next thing I know, whoops, I'm late to head to Lucia's party. Long story short, I was 45 minutes late to rendezvous, but as I got there before Lucia, everything was okay. We had hot pot for lunch, during the course of which, I dropped a radish and burned the shit out of my hand. I'm okay, but it hurt like a motherfucker (and had the unintended yet hilarious side effect of me dropping my soup bowl into the pot, which Stef helped me fish out later).

After lunch, we headed up to karaoke, and good times were had. The usual karaoke stuff. It was during karaoke that I checked the score in the Rangers game and discovered that not only were they winning with less than ten to go, not only were they up by three, not only did we get three power play goals -- two from Captain and one from Gabby -- but Captain came up with a third goal for the hatty. Final was 5-2, and the Rangers are 5-0 against the Flyers this season, with the final game in Philly on April 3. I cheered all the way to the bar~

The coffee I had had the opposite effect it should have, and it wasn't long before I was dozing off on Esmeralda. I perked back up for ... something. And again when Megan showed up. And Michele, coincidentally, was celebrating her birthday there, too (she'd invited only LAIRE people)! And so we left. Got a little more food, and I went home with Megan to get a cosplay piece I mean to copy and that she forgot to bring. Fortunately, she lives right across the water, so it was no big deal.

But on the way back, I had just missed the train back to the city, so I had to wait fifteen minutes for the next one. And when I did, I got on the wrong train. Went the one stop, waited ten more minutes for the next train, and doubled back. Finally got back to Manhattan, went above ground to find a bathroom -- because all that tea and coffee and there was no way I was gonna make it to Queens -- which took another fifteen minutes, and when I got back to the subway, I watched the train's doors close in front of me: another fifteen minutes.

It took me two hours to get home, but it should have taken just one. Fortunately, once I got back above ground, I managed to catch the bus before it pulled away. I have some of the shittiest travel-luck!

I've been reading this freakin' book all day; I covered well more than 100 pages (but I don't remember where I started). Either way, I've got less than 150 to go, and I'll be reading until I fall asleep again, finishing tomorrow, and getting to the library for ADwD. Home stretch! On Monday -- oh god, Katsu is this week -- I'll see if I can't get fabric (or maybe I should look around the fabric stores on Jamaica tomorrow if they're open :|a) and start working on things and packing.

I MEAN, IT'S NOT LIKE I HAVE A JOB TO WORRY ABOUT. I CAN JUST SEW ALL DAY. ... /cry

One last thing, if anyone's Chrome-savvy enough to help: so the browser's giving me trouble with Facebook. I can't leave comments or check my messages or anything, only if I'm using Chrome regularly. Chrome -- in incognito mode -- still works, as do Firefox and IE, as well as Chrome Portable. I've tried restarting the computer, signing out of Facebook, clearing cookies, and so forth. There aren't any extensions to interfere. The only thing I haven't tried is uninstalling and then reinstalling Chrome (and I've only just thought of doing so, derp). Think that'll work?

I'm just so ready to collapse.
