The good news: BERRYZ KOUBOU IS COMING TO ANIMENEXT IN JUNE SLDKJFLKSDJFLKSJDLFKJDLKFJL
My favorite is Saki, she's top right. And since I always wind up with her solos, it's an in-joke that Momoko -- bottom left -- is my other favorite. They're the two shortest and the two oldest of the group. XD
ichiP! loves Berryz Koubou, and we always have a million of their songs in our shows and panels. We're disgusting. When we heard they were going to be in Seattle for SakuraCon this year, we cursed our luck for living on the other side of the country and not being able to afford it (I could afford it personally, but it would be no fun without the others, and it was the same weekend as Anime Boston anyway, which was a week before Costume Con and Matsuri. Ick). BUT NOW!
So I've had all my Berryz music on loop all day in celebration. Olua's asked for all the stuff I have, and since it's not a rush, I'll send it to her later in the week after I've had the chance to download all of the rest of it, since I only have half of their A-side singles (and none of the B-sides). And now we definitely have to do that huge collab project with Paradise*Peach and we have to make costumes and be perfect and OMG FANGIRLING ALL THE WAY TO JUUUUUUNE venus you're gonna be thirty years old. stop acting like you're thirteen and chill out.
The bad news:
Jose Reyes signed with the Marlins. Maybe? EITHER WAY THIS IS SHITTY because he really really really might not be a Met come April. And of course I'm still a Mets fan. I've dealt with awesome players leaving before. But the batting champion? To the Marlins of all teams! maybe he just really likes orange But it's like I grew up with Jose and I can't imagine anyone else playing shortstop (I might have said the same thing after Rey Ordoñez, but it's true: Jose doesn't field like Rey did). Not to mention I won't have an OTP anymore. Who's gonna play short, Justin Turner? NO. NOT THE SAME. And he certainly won't be perfectly bromantic with David. And now we definitely won't have a surprise comeback and win the World Series.
THIS IS A NIGHTMARE. I'm... I'm secure enough in myself to admit that I was crying. THIS IS SAD. venus you're gonna be thirty years old. stop acting like you're thirteen and chill out.
The good news is up
here.
Dad's scarf is awesome. I did a lot of work on it and I'm back on pace! \o/ I've still got a bit to go, but even if I don't finish it tonight, it's a lot less left for tomorrow than I had to do today (and worse comes to worst, I can bring it with me on my commute on Tuesday). Canucks are currently beating the Isles 3-1 in the third -- a game I can actually watch! -- and I will thoroughly enjoy watching my teams gang up on and beat Dad's twice in three nights. XD
10. Do you/have you ever played hockey? Um, we played indoor ball hockey in gym class in junior high school, does that count? I have a very distinct memory of being a SHITTY goalie (I didn't wanna be goalie, it made no sense. I was even smaller then than I am now). XD New York's a very basebally-basketbally town, especially in the city proper, where we don't have all the space necessary for hockey (or football). Let's be honest: I can't even skate very well. I can stay on my feet, and going fast is really fun, but I don't have the greatest control once I get going. XD
