Wow, I'm having a really boring yet really shitty month!
Now, this may be the PMS talking, but this is one very scary flashback. It's not the same scale as last time, because there's still contact and no broken trust, but I feel like I'm losing someone and the only person who can fix the problem is the one I'm losing. And it's no secret that last time left me extremely fucked up for months, and it's something I care not to revisit, even in the smallest way. So that this just happened out of the blue... I'm panicking. It's even the same time of year. Guh.
And as much as I love all of you....
It's probably not good to dwell on this. I'll have some tea, get some sugar and caffeine back in my system, keep knitting and re-watching GoT while I wait for the game to start. LIFE PRIORITIES. ah, the good ol' self-distraction technique. if i can't see it, it doesn't exist! nearly flawless.
7. Where does hockey rank for you in comparison to other sports? Somewhere around the middle. I watch it, but I don't play it; I like it, but there's still a lot I don't know or understand; being involved is great, but a lot of the time I feel like I'm trying too hard, or that I don't belong in the fandom. It's hard, but I stick with it. Baseball will always be my husband, but hockey's the boyfriend-on-the-side* who keeps me warm in the winter.
