It's been one of those days that I couldn't even tell you what I've done in the past twelve hours because I have no idea. I did start knitting a new scarf (for me), though. I might even be finished in time (end of February).
Canucks lost, 3-2, to the Blues; they're back to .500. And they look perfectly mediocre, too. Whatever fire was lit under them last season is just not there this year. We're a month in, they've played thirteen games, I really hope things turn around soon. ._. Rangers play the Canadiens tomorrow.
BUT HEY SPEAKING OF HOCKEY, I've got a meme. jennybenz made one up for me in the comments of yesterday's post, and then I accidentally stumbled across another one today. A lot of the questions are the same, so I'll eliminate them, but I'll have plenty to ride through to the end of the month, and possibly to start December. Let's get started!
1. Favorite team(s) and why? I mean, I understand if you haven't been paying attention at all, but now that it's November, I can't go two days without mentioning either the New York Rangers or the Vancouver Canucks (the Buffalo Sabres will pop up every now and then). When jyoki got me into this game -- the story will come later in the meme -- I just figured I'd have to like the Rangers (in other words, I completely forgot about the Islanders, but they suck anyway so it's okay). As for the Canucks, at the end of the '09-'10 season, the Rangers looked like they weren't going to make the playoffs (spoilers: they didn't) and I needed a Western Conference team to support anyway, or half the games were suddenly no fun. I chose at random, and it came up the Canucks, which is cool, because they have awesome colors and initials. :D And the Sabres? That'd be the fault of one Ryan Miller.
Aaaaand that's it for tonight. I'm really boring this year, I'm sorry.
