Someone posted on
rpg_world_comic sometime last night saying that the archives were back online. Guess what I spent the entire day doing: downloading. I am not losing
that comic again. It took forever because the connection is slow, for some reason. In the end, I got it all, and I'm organizing now (guest strips and fanart and the like). In the sameish vein, I stumbled across
Boring RPG and I'm glad my click times are down to about three an hour now so I can do other things. Saturday was nearly wasted with two-minute click times. Don't play it, omg. I was inspired to re-start
Progress Quest, though, and that's been running. Yeah, boredom.
Still sore from Saturday, though, despite all the hot showers, stretching, and resting (resting like a motherfucker. Sometimes I think there's something wrong with me. Other times I think "Sleep is awesome, don't question it!" I tend to let that second thought guide me more than the first). Am I looking forward to work tomorrow, though? Not a bit. XD
Theresa got the tickets for the Rangers/Devils game in New Jersey next month. Seventy-one dollars (and I thought the Rangers' tickets were expensive), so now I owe her an even hundred! I think it'll be a long time before I complain about the price of Mets tickets again. Esmeralda told me that the price of basketball tickets was even worse: when she wanted to go to a Knicks game in high school, tickets were $85. What?! That was over ten years ago, I don't want to imagine what they are now. I'm scared to imagine football.
29. A game you thought you wouldn't like, but ended up loving. FF9. I played FF7 and I saw what the hype was about, kinda. It was a good game, but I didn't see why everyone was all OMGGGGGG over it, especially not eight years later (this was 2005, lol). I went into FF9 a little doubtful -- "Is this what all the Final Fantasys are like? Because it wasn't that special." -- but when I played it, I realized that everyone was misguided: FF9 was the one they should have been jizzing over because it's just amazing. Freakin' love that game.
29. Favorite school uniform. *snicker* Bible Black. XD
29. What ship had the best proposal? *shrug?*
29. Character you’d want personified into a cat. Greece is a cat. You don't even have to think about it. He is. America : puppy :: Greece : kitty.
29. Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days. Don't die.
29. In this past month, what have you learned. Not much, really. Um, I lose things a lot, but I knew that.
29. Your aspirations. Now if I had had any of those, I wouldn't be in the situation in which I currently find myself, would I? No, I didn't think so. XD
29. A song from your childhood. One of the first songs I remember learning all the words to (incorrectly, thanks Mom) was Frère Jacques. Took all the way until high school French class before I learned how it was supposed to go.
29. a photo of someone you find attractive.
His hair is always perfect. I'm not a fan of his (not after tonight's game >:|), but he is very nice to look at. I can't believe we're the same age lol
29. Your favorite theme/attraction. I don't even remember what ride it was anymore, but whichever one that sent me on a week-long hunt for Mickey heads. XD Last time I went to Disney with marching band, I was on line for a ride, and a friend and I were stopped at the very front of the line. The backdrops were a bunch of trees, and I looked around as we were waiting: the knothole in one of the trees was a silhouette of Mickey's head. I brought it to my friend's attention; the line attendant overheard us and explained that there was a secret Mickey on every ride. You don't tell things like that to someone with mild OCPD. I didn't find any others.
I'm pretty sure this entry pushes me over 15K for NaBlo, so yay! Back to RPGW.
