1. As much as I hated the whole Glenn Close manifestation of Anna, I was disappointed that there wasn't more of her. The family aspect of the show while endearing, keeps cutting off the actual conflict in any episode. Also props to McNiven for turning away from sobby Anna and becoming psycho Anna very well.
2. Past!Uriel. Dear god where were you hiding? And why didn't Kripke use you in s4? I'm adding YOU to list of hottie angels :D
3. Michael-John!!! Another week and another curveball Kripke throws at us that I did NOT see coming. Michael was exactly as righteous and straight-laced as I thought he would be but less condescending than I had expected. Although I have to say the whole shpiel about "this is your destiny and everything your entire clan has done since day 1 has led to this moment" is kinda getting old. Yes we get it, the boys are destined to be champions for heaven and hell now lets fight!
4. Which brings me to my last point. CASTIEL!! WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUDGE man?! I'm getting sick and tired of using Castiel as a ridiculous prop to accelerate the plotline for the episode. His presence is kinda BIG in team Winchester and WHY wasn't the whole dynamic about "no I pick Sam over the right thing" NOT expanded upon? Why was he not there with the boys to fight off Anna?
Ok P.S- Michael's presence is bothering me to a great extent. I thought Anna was doing Heaven's bid. Castiel said one has to be LET OUT of the heavenly prison so Anna was released with orders to kill Sam. If that was the case then why did Michael intervene? Why didn't Castiel fight the battle instead of Michael?
